Printing nature
Printing nature is a flip book showing a series of six tattoos inspired by natural elements (roots, leaves, wood...) stamped on the model’s body according to the spiritual meaning of placements in tattoo culture. Ever since Industrialisation and even before, we have put our imprint on nature and sculpted it to our liking. This publication demonstrates the switch around happening in the more recent years, with society giving back power to the environment, and it taking back its roots with the uprising of climate change.
