Based on the Process Art movement, this piece highlights process, switching the viewers’ gaze from the physicality of artwork to the process behind it. Not only is it an ode to the movement, but it also encompasses its pillars of improvisation and anti-form.”

Relational Process: Anti-form and improvisation in the works of Process Art artists Robert Morris and Eva Hesse
aim.
Process Art artists are not concerned with the end product but with the process of making. They see art-making as cyclical. In this research paper I discuss how Robert Morris and Eva Hesse utilize cycles in their creative formulas. Analyzing sources of art theory and art history, I was curious to explore the anti-form and improvisation processes; how cycles manifest in these different forms and how they drive the processes of creation.
